Carol Montoya oversees a portfolio of local, regional, and national associations and foundations. She joined AH in 2026 as part of the acquisition of Potomac Management Resources, an Alexandria, VA-based association management company that she led for 27 years.

Carol's experience includes overseeing client operations and staff, ensuring the seamless delivery of strategic, operational, financial, and membership services for association partners. She has served as Executive Director for several associations, including the American College of Coverage Counsel, Retail Contractors Association, Women's Bar Association of the District of
Columbia, and Windstorm Insurance Network. Working closely with boards of directors and volunteer leaders, she helps organizations achieve their strategic goals, strengthen member engagement, and improve operational effectiveness.

Carol is an active volunteer leader and recipient of numerous professional and community honors, including Hood College Distinguished Alumni Award, Fairfax County Champions of Character Award, and the American Advertising Federation’s Betty Riehl Excellence in Service Award. Outside of work, Carol is a passionate soccer fan who enjoys following multiple leagues and cheering on her favorite teams whenever she gets the chance.
