When designing a new logo for a client, an elaborate presentation is a key factor to inspiring your audience and providing a backstory behind the designs.

MarCom was recently tasked with the creation of a new brand identity for an upstart client, ODIA (On-Demand Industry Association). ODIA is the only association focused on the growth, support, and advancement of on-demand businesses. ODIA provided information about their message and the feel they wanted to convey with their logo.

The creative team immediately began brainstorming and devised a plan to create the three requested options as well as a revamped version of their existing logo. Once the initial designs were created, the Creative team went the extra mile, with fully fleshed out presentations of EACH logo design. Jenelle Kleiman (art director) designed a beautiful template, which highlighted the logo on a photograph, as an app on a phone (especially important for the ODIA client), on stationery, and as a decal on an office window. Each logo had a story to tell, and detailed explanations for why each graphic element was used. Full color palettes as well as an iconography section for each ODIA segment were important parts of the presentation.

The client was blown away with the presentations. They loved all the options and eventually chose one of the options with minor adjustments. Not only will these presentations be a foundation for ODIA’s brand identity, they will also help maintain a consistent brand moving forward.
