Discover how NADCA used digital media at their recent annual meeting in Phoenix to do just that.

Several of the organizations we work with that hold annual meetings have, over the years, taken advantage of AH’s digital media team to travel to the meeting to capture photos and footage of the event. The photos and footage are often used as another way to document past years’ meetings. In addition, the team interviews some attendees to capture testimonials to use in future videos to promote the organization and other upcoming events.

Recently, NADCA took full advantage of having AH’s digital media team (videographer and photographer) onsite in Phoenix at its annual meeting.

The AH digital media team has been traveling to NADCA’s annual meeting every year for the past three years and has developed quite an archive of footage, testimonials, and photos. This year, in addition to that, the team leveraged the help of NADCA’s members to promote the 2017 meeting at the 2016 party to get everyone excited for next year.

Since NADCA’s 2017 meeting will be held in Orlando, Florida, the NADCA meetings team purchased Mickey Mouse gloves to bring onsite to circulate among the members to get them excited for next year’s location. The AH digital media team saw this as a photo/footage opportunity and took full advantage! One of the digital media team members put on a Tinkerbell costume and the team went around to all of the members at the party, passed out the Mickey hands, and had everyone say on camera, “See you in Disney!” and pose for a photo. This was all done on the last night at the meeting during their party.

Everyone was very receptive to participating in the on-camera message and photos. Some of the feedback from the members was that they had no idea the meeting was in Disney next year until the team came around with the props.

NADCA now has over 30 on-camera “See you in Disney!” messages and posed member photos to use while promoting the 2017 meeting throughout the year. The members who attended the party are now all aware of the meeting location and will be on the look-out for their on-camera messages and photos.
