As we close out the first month of 2013, New Year’s resolutions have been set as we take what we learned from 2012 and try to “kick it up a notch” for a brand new year. Here at AH, this is especially true in regard to the client partners we work hard to serve.
Our staff shared some of the resolutions they have made to move their clients forward in 2013. One common area that is a priority is membership. Some responses included:
- Communicating information to members more accurately.
- Searching for more effective ways to reach the membership.
- Renewal opportunities and increasing membership in general.
- Improving the way benefits are communicated to members.
Essentially, it all comes down to the backbone of our client partners: the members.
Making sure we stay goal oriented through the creation of resolutions is one thing, but implementing a plan to ensure the goals are reached is also vital. And what better way to put a plan into action than by working together and collaborating as a team? Implementing strategic plans and finding ways to better suit a client’s needs by working as one was also considered high on the priority list for this year.
When we focus on membership and work together as a team, the result is growth. We realize the importance of anticipating this growth and finding new resources to help us along the way. We’re looking at web-based services to help us reach a wider membership, as well as ways to make sure that members are satisfied with these new communication vehicles.
A new year ultimately means having to change based on what we have learned and a few of those changes involve taking risks, thinking outside of the box, reaching out in new ways, and requesting feedback from members on what they specifically would like to see moving forward. At the end of the day, we look to take the success from 2012 and not only build upon it, but aim for an even better 2013.
