Association Headquarters (AH), a leading association management company dedicated to helping organizations thrive, is pleased to announce that Account Executive Gabrielle Copperwheat, IOM, has graduated from the Institute for Organization Management and has received the recognition of IOM. Awarded to all graduates of the Institute program, the IOM Graduate Recognition signifies the individual’s completion of 96 credit hours of course instruction in non-profit management.

Gabrielle serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Controlled Release Society (CRS), where she provides strategic leadership across governance, finance, brand, and operations. CRS is the premier global society for delivery science and technology, representing 1,500 professionals advancing the field through research, development, and clinical translation.

She is also Executive of the REMS Industry Consortium, an organization that supports the development of best practices in reducing ambiguity with REMS requirements, advancing the science of safety and risk mitigation for patients; improving predictability and standardization of FDA interactions by bringing together the perspectives of organizations that sell, or anticipate selling, prescription drugs or biologics subject to Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS).

Currently, Gabrielle serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Mid-Atlantic Society of Association Executives (MASAE). She holds a Bachelor of Arts from DeSales University and has completed advanced coursework in business, finance, communications, and languages through institutions including the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, Lafayette College, and the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy. She is also pursuing the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives.

Since its commencement in 1921, the Institute program has been educating tens of thousands of leaders on how to build successful organizations, better serve their members and become strong business advocates. The institute's curriculum consists of four weeklong sessions at four different university locations throughout the country. Through a combination of required courses and electives in areas such as leadership, advocacy, marketing, finance, and membership, Institute participants are able to enhance their own organizational management skills and add new fuel to their organizations, making them run more efficiently and effectively.

Institute for Organization Management is the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. It is the premier nonprofit professional development program for association and chamber professionals, fostering individual growth through interactive learning and networking opportunities.
