Exciting News!
As the winter drones on, AH is extremely proud to announce the acquisition of Managing Matters, a highly respected Canadian-based AMC. This strategic move strengthens AH’s presence in the North American market and reinforces our commitment to delivering best-in-class services to associations, professional societies, and credentialing bodies across North America. Additionally, we are pleased to welcome Sam Leone as our new President, a proven leader with deep expertise in professional services organizations and strategic growth.

Strengthening Our Market Presence
Managing Matters, headquartered in Toronto, has built an outstanding reputation for providing innovative management solutions to professional associations and non-profits. Their expertise in governance, membership engagement, and strategic leadership aligns seamlessly with AH’s core values and mission. By joining forces, we are expanding our ability to serve a diverse client base with enhanced resources, industry knowledge, and operational efficiencies.

For clients of both AH and Managing Matters, this integration means access to a broader range of services, increased efficiencies, and exposure to a wider network of association professionals and best practices. Our combined teams are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible, ensuring continued success for the clients we serve.

Welcoming Sam Leone as President
As part of our continued growth and strategic expansion efforts, we are also excited to welcome Sam Leone as President of Association Headquarters. Sam brings a wealth of experience in professional services firm management, business development, and operational leadership. With a strong history of driving growth and innovation, Sam will lead AH into its next chapter, ensuring that we continue to exceed client expectations and stay at the forefront of the association management industry.

Looking Ahead
The acquisition of Managing Matters and the appointment of Sam Leone mark an exciting new chapter for Association Headquarters. As we integrate teams, processes, and expertise, our focus remains on delivering innovative, results-driven solutions to our association partners. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of excellence and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth.

Bob Waller will remain CEO, focusing on other strategic acquisitions as AH works with our investment partner to forge ahead toward our dynamic growth goals. He will also play a key role in mentoring Sam and integrating him into our company to ensure that client service delivery remains the top priority during this transition and into the future. Bob will also remain actively involved in the business, leading staff meetings, participating in committee discussions, and upholding the culture that makes AH so unique. Additionally, he will continue to oversee the new business development and corporate marketing teams.

At the same time, I will remain steady in my role as AH’s Chief Executive Relationship Officer, with oversight of our client services department and caring for key client relationships. I will also support acquisition efforts alongside Bob.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients, staff, and partners for their ongoing trust and support. We look forward to the opportunities ahead and to continuing our mission of empowering our clients to achieve their goals and create lasting impact.
