Association Headquarters has named Ashton Hald its Director of Meetings—a position re-established to ensure that requisite leadership resources are continually dedicated to the Meetings and Events function of the company.  Association Headquarters manages over 200 meetings annually that are regional, domestic, and international in scope. Our event specialists include Certified Meeting Professionals (CMPs), Certified Exposition Managers (CEMs), and Digital Event Strategists (DESs).

Hald has worked at AH for seven years, having accrued extensive experience planning and executing meetings for multiple clients across the AH client portfolio. Her new, expanded responsibilities as the Director of Meetings will include strategic development of AH’s meetings and events; staff recruiting, development, and retention; serving as the primary content expert on AH's meeting services; identifying new leads related to meeting services projects; serving as the primary content expert on AH’s meeting services; and identifying new leads related to new business development. Additionally, Hald will manage all of Association Headquarters’ hotel partner and vendor relationships while serving as the public face of AH meetings in the marketplace.  

Ashton holds a B.S.B.A in Marketing from Old Dominion University and is credentialed both as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Digital Event Strategist (DES). Possessing a long history of planning meetings in the medical, scientific and trade environments, she is also a devoted member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) on whose behalf she has given a number of lectures and trainings concerning the topic of "Returning to In-Person Meetings".
