Association Headquarters Wins Two Awards in the TRENDS Annual All-Media Contest
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ – April 27, 2011 — AH communications and creative departments received honors at the Association TRENDS Salute to Association Excellence All-Media Contest recently held in Washington, D.C. Judges received more than 400 entries in 27 categories and evaluated entries based on appearance, arrangement of articles, suitability to the audience, and effectiveness.
Association TRENDS presented the communications department with a silver award in the Social Media category for its work with the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association’s (JPMA) social media communications.
JPMA’s relentless work communicating safety tips on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and its parent-focused blog helped achieve the association’s strategic goals and connect with new audiences. The creativity and diverse array of outlets helped distinguish JPMA’s standing within the category.
AH’s Art Director Mark Denato received the Association TRENDS award on behalf of the creative department in the Commemoration/Tribute category. The degree of creativity in the “American Mosquito Control Association — The 75 Year History” collateral design helped give AMCA an edge over competitors, and the overall cover design gave the commemoration of the association’s 75 years a sophisticated feel.
“We pride ourselves on providing the highest caliber of creative work for our client partners, and it's an honor to have our staff’s contributions recognized,” stated Bob Waller, CAE, President and CEO of AH. “They are tremendous assets to our team, and go to great lengths to creatively communicate the key messages of our client partners.”
