MT. LAUREL, N.J. – December 16, 2014 — AH is proud to announce that Senior Meeting Manager Shannon Fagan, CMP, was awarded the Emerging Leader Award by the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), a membership organization that represents 6,500 meeting industry leaders worldwide.
"Serving association boards and committees is at the core of our business here at AH and we encourage and support our staff when they are interested in volunteering,” said AH CEO Bob Waller, Jr., CAE. “We are extremely proud of Shannon and her accomplishment and are proud to have her as part of our outstanding meetings team."
This award is presented to an outstanding committee chair who has served in that position for 3 years or less. PCMA members can only earn this award once and must be a member in good standing.
Fagan, a West Deptford resident, has been in the meetings industry for over a decade. After starting with AH in 2004, she has worked on client partners of various sizes and industries, earning her the title of Senior Meetings Manager that she holds today.
Waller added, “Through our staff’s volunteer initiatives, they are able to stay current on new techniques and can appreciate the challenges and opportunities that our client’s face daily.”
