Employees of Association Headquarters donated women’s attire to aid K.I.D.S.

MT. LAUREL, N.J. – March 28, 2014 — Association Headquarters (AH), a leading association management company, teamed up with ModaVive and client partner Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) holding a company-wide collection, asking employees to donate high-quality and gently used dresses, business suits, or maternity wear. The garments will be sold on ModaVive’s e-commerce platform with more than half of the proceeds from the sales going to support Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.)

“Giving back has been a core value for Association Headquarters for a very long time. It is a concept that is embraced by our staff, and is also a highly visible corporate priority,” said AH CEO Bob Waller, Jr., CAE. “We regularly participate in events for our clients and for other large-scale charity organizations.”

ModaVive is a platform that collects gently used, high-quality garments from the public and resells the items, donating a portion of its proceeds to various charities and organizations. JPMA, a national trade organization representing 95 percent of the prenatal to preschool industry, is a partner of ModaVive.

K.I.D.S. helps homeless and military families, victims of domestic abuse, and children with serious illnesses, and runs Safe Sleep Centers where underprivileged families can go and receive free juvenile products and information on safe sleep practices.
