MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. – August 17, 2011 — AH, a Philadelphia area-based professional services firm, is proud to announce that Account Executive Sarah Gazi, CAE, has graduated from the Institute for Organization Management (IOM). This professional development program of the United States Chamber of Commerce serves as many chambers’ and associations’ platform for the professional development of their top talent. Gazi received the designation of IOM, which signifies completion of 96 hours of course instruction in non-profit management.
“Institute graduates are recognized across the country as leaders in their industries and organizations,” said Raymond P. Towle, IOM, CAE, the U.S. Chamber’s vice president of Institute for Organization Management. “These individuals have the knowledge, skills, and dedication necessary to achieve professional and organizational success in the dynamic association and chamber industries.”
The Institute’s curriculum consists of four, week-long sessions at five different university locations throughout the country. Each week, participants receive training in leadership, advocacy, finance, membership, emerging technologies, and many other organization management competencies.
“One of AH's core values is to support our staff in continuing their education. Sarah is a great example of someone who strives for excellence and adopts an attitude of continual self improvement,” said AH's President and CEO Bob Waller, CAE. “We will continue to support our staff in expanding their professional development, as it is beneficial to both the individual and our client partners.”
In addition to the IOM graduate recognition, participants can earn credit hours toward the Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) or Certified Association Executive (CAE) professional industry certifications.
