MOUNT LAUREL, NJ – December 6, 2018 – Association Headquarters, a professional services firm that specializes in helping non-profit organizations achieve their mission, create value, and advance their causes, industries, and professions, announces two awards. The first is for AH client partner, National Air Duct Cleaners Association, and the second award honors an AH staff member. Both awards were presented at the Mid-Atlantic Society of Association Executives’ (MASAE) 2018 Annual Meeting in Atlantic City, NJ.

Amy Williams, IOM, MPA, CAE was honored with the 2018 Distinguished Service Award. This award is given to an MASAE member who has served in a volunteer position, puts MASAE matters first, is able to motivate and stimulate others, acts as a catalyst to effect exceptional results that benefit MASAE and has a demonstrated track record of success and achievements in MASAE endeavors.

“Amy exemplifies all that MASAE has awarded her with and we are proud to have her as a member of the AH management team, heading up our sales and consulting efforts” said Bob Waller, Jr., CAE President and CEO of AH.

Amy is the Vice President of Sales and Consulting at AH and recently completed her term of immediate past-president of MASAE.

AH client partner, National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), was given the Positive Impact Award from MASAE. Positive Impact Awards are presented to organizations that utilized original thinking to successfully implement a project/activity and produced a positive impact on the organization, its membership, and/or its vital communities.

NADCA submitted its Breathing Clean campaign for the award. The goals of the Breathing Clean campaign are to (1) Educate homeowners about the benefits of air duct cleaning and the importance of hiring a NADCA member company to perform the services; (2) Be a resource to homeowners, providing helpful information including tips for hiring a reputable air duct cleaning company and easy-to-understand instructions for making sure the job is done right; (3) Provide NADCA members with tools that will help with communicating to current and potential customers.

Breathing Clean has been very successful for NADCA. It was developed by the Anti-Fraud Task Force whose mission is to combat scammers and fraudulent companies taking advantage of unsuspecting homeowners with their “too good to be true” air duct cleaning services,” said Jodi Araujo, Chief Staff Executive of NADCA. “The Federal Trade Commission estimates that Americans lost more than $4 billion to fraud and scams during the last five years. Air duct cleaning is a growing industry susceptible to fraud, so NADCA’s Board of Directors decided to take an active role in educating and protecting its members’ customers. We are very proud of the awareness that the Breathing Clean campaign has created for homeowners and consumers and we are honored to accept this award from MASAE,” said Araujo.
