Staffing Changes at AH illustrate the flexibility of the AMC model

MT. LAUREL, NJ – March 31, 2014  AH announced today the departure of tenured staff member Pamela Ballinger, CMP. Ballinger has accepted the position of Senior Director of Meetings and Exhibits with the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) and will begin her new position in April.

Taking her position will be AH staff member Shannon Fagan, CMP, who has been mentored by Ballinger since being hired in 2004. Fagan has been named as director of meetings and exhibits for the World Transplant Congress (WTC) and the American Transplant Congress (ATC), both long-standing client partners of AH.

“Pam has been with AH for over 14 years and has made many contributions to our success, as well as the success of our client partners,” said Bob Waller, CAE, President and CEO of AH. “Anyone who knows Pam knows that she has a passion for the field and is looked upon by others for her guidance and expertise. The executive leaders of WTC and ATC are supportive of Pam’s decision and welcome Shannon as her successor.”

Association Headquarters, Inc. will continue to manage the World Transplant Congress and the American Transplant Congress events and is in the process of transitioning both projects to Fagan before Ballinger’s departure in April.
