MT. LAUREL, NJ – January 27, 2014 — Association Headquarters (AH) has been honored with a bronze medal in the category of Direct Marketing Pieces/Promotions in Association TRENDS’ 2013 All-Media Contest. It was one of nearly 470 entries in the association publications contest. AH submitted the entry on behalf of client partner, the Society for Biomaterials (SFB).
The award-winning piece was used for the association’s call for abstracts for its annual meeting. “We are so excited to be recognized for our work with SFB,” said Kim Karagosian, Senior Director of Marketing and Communications (MarCom) at AH. “This award is the result of a great partnership with the society and constant collaboration throughout the MarCom team.”
AH’s MarCom team functions as an in-house creative agency, bringing together the leading marketing, creative, editorial, digital media, and communications professionals, specializing in helping associations succeed by offering a broad range of customizable communications and marketing solutions.
The TRENDS All-Media Contest is an annual competition held exclusively for associations, recognizing the most creative and effective communication vehicles developed in the industry over the prior year. The 2013 competition included a record 467 entries in 22 categories of association communications.
AH will be honored at the 35th Annual Salute to Association Excellence, to be held Feb. 20, 2014, at the Capital Hilton in Washington DC. The winning entry will be on display at the event, along with the other winners. In addition to being honored at the Salute to Association Excellence, this year’s All-Media Contest winners will be featured in the January issue of TRENDS and online.
